What is this TechKickback thing?
One part Hackathon
One part Kickback
 Â
Who is this for?
You're a black or latinx tech employee that on the weekend tinkers but would love some support to make progress on those projects you've been sitting on.
Â
You're a creative or entrepreneur that wants to focus more on building instead of making limited resources stretch thinner. You don't have the luxury of the friends and fam round (you might even be your friends and family's round) so every cent spent on the business holds even greater weight.
Â
You're a tech employee (you may or may not be a poc) and you're invested in making tech more inclusive and equitable. You might be tired of tech initiatives around inclusion that offer little to no cultivation of the dope talent and expertise that exists. You want to find new useful ways to get support efforts and make an impact.
Â
You just want to connect with others while building and creating.Â
We're looking for technologists that can lend suport and their expertise to attendees during parts of the day. You might be an engineer, an entrepreneur, a finance gal (or guy), a designer, a PR guru or the marketing go to. We'd love to get you involved and can share more about time comitment.Â
Who: Though the event is centered around black and latinx participants mentor oportunitites are open to all!
